2024 will mark the 32nd year the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Education Foundation has been awarding scholarships to local graduating seniors. As a result of successful fundraising and monetary contributions from HBA members as well as others within the community; the Foundation was able to award 12 $2,000 scholarships to 12 recipients in the 2022-2023 school year. The Foundation hopes this success and support from HBA members, and the community will continue in the 2023-2024 school year.
Scholarship Criteria
Eligibility is open to any graduating high school senior who is a U.S. citizen and legal resident attending school in Beaufort, Jasper or Hampton County, with proven academic work ethic, demonstrated community service, solid character, and who has been accepted or plans to attend a post-secondary education program, including a four-year or two-year college or university, trade or technical school or certification program.
